Stefania Taviano is Associate Professor of English and Translation at the University of Messina, Italy since 2002. Her main research areas include a translation approach to disability, the relationship between migration, translation and human rights, translational and polylingual practices in global movements, such as Global Hip Hop and art activism, as well as the spread of ELF and its impact on translation, language and translation pedagogy. She is also a professional translator and interpreter.
