Desislava Angelova lives in Bulgaria and works as a marketing manager, specialising in marketing strategies. She holds a Master’s degree in Defence and Security Management from the Military University in Sofia. She is currently a PhD student at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Her interest in marketing, digital media and politics led to the realization modern politics turn is governed by social media. Her thesis is based on researching the effect of digital populism on world and local political outcomes.
